Celestial Arts had its grand opening in July 2000 in Westmead Sydney NSW,
when my daughter, niece and I had a vision of painting our own items and selling the pieces to the public.
We went on to teach classes to friends and children in the local area.
The business grew gradually, with my daughter and niece helping out on alternate days, until eventually their families took precedence.
I continued with painting and teaching as the business grew to have 4 teachers other than myself.
I loved every minute of it, it was challenging at times, and at times it was very emotional, looking back now i would not change any of it.

Celestial Arts Craft Studio was retailing and teaching for 11 years.
During this time I made many friends some were with me over the 11 years.
Eventually circumstances changed, family (grandchildren) took precedence over the business and I eventually closed down on the 28th February 2011.

I have moved my business to Queensland and now work from a home studio.

where i sell Patchwork, Sewing, Quilting, Country Craft, Art and Other Craft supplies and Finished Craft items.

To date I have been painting for over 20 years, my style has changed from the basic folk art, I started to learn with June Hawksley in the late eighties, then with Heather Lownds and Annette Johnson, with many, many workshop attendances with well know artists like Chris Roy, Chris Whipper, Donna Gilbertson and many others. My last few Years in Sydney i was painting with Artist Michael Zaiter in Merrylands NSW http://www.michaelzaiterart.com/

I am now teaching In Bundaberg at "The Fabric Palette" at 38 Targo Road

Some of my paintings hang in "Bundyliscious Cafe" accross the road from the Fabric Palette at 37 Targo Road.
